I have been researching the wording in this climate bill and I don't agree that consumers need to be taxed to the tune of 1.2 trillion dollars!!! The majority of the public is doing their part by recycling, etc. Factories and businesses that pollute should be the ones who are taxed and fined to get the message across.
I have decided not to sign until The EDF can clarify the fine print of this bill.

Where to start??? I think the first step would be to take geo thermals new, easier to produce electricity and put it in every new building, home, etc... Second, build electric cars (there nearing 100mpg), and let the geo thermal recharge your vehicle. Third, bring jobs back to the US, shipping, import fees, etc.. don't make over seas products that much cheaper anymore, and they just use up too many resources and create too much pollution to get goods here.
Now comes the big kicker, REGULATE the OIL companies. I don't want to be dependent on oil, but until the new energy efficient cars get built; geo thermal, wind & solar plants become more prolific, corporate greed has got to end. Soon there won't be enough Americans making enough money to buy their products &/or services. CEO's should be paid per their performance, and not by lowering the bottom line through lay offs and now offering shoddy customer service (of yeah, there isn't anyone to talk to when you have a problem, WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!). I was once told by a senior corporate employee that we worker bees don't have any corporate loyalties! I laughed, then asked which company this week I was working for !!!! Build a GREENER, planet friendly country! Put Americans back to work by building wind, solar, geo themal power. Show the world that America is STILL a great country by setting the standard to clean up the planet, and the rest of the worl will follow!!!! I BELIEVE IN A CLEANER, GREENER AMERICA!!!!

I would suggest that the users and operators of this site all watch a video made by the BBC. I know everyone will tune out when they read the title but.....PLEASE......just watch it. For the sake of the future of mankind! Its called "the great global warming swindle". Its not hard to find and if anyone can't find it let me know. It has many scientists demonstrating what an utter and complete hoax and political propaganda "man made" global warming is. You guys are doing more damage to both the environment and the future of mankind than good.
I have a total solution to C02 emissions that will reduce our emissions to zero. But it wont happen because its not politically correct. Nuclear power plants! Lots of them. Instant solution, and no reducing developed countries to third world status.
I expect these comments will be deleted. Just watch.
