Another New TV Ad: 'Melt'

This post is by Tony Kreindler, media director for the National Climate Campaign at Environmental Defense Fund.

As promised, here's a look at the other TV ad we've launched as the full Senate prepares to debate the Climate Security Act.

This ad shows a naysayer literally melting away: "Melt" TV ad.

What do you think? Yesterday's ad, "Grounded", is my personal favorite. Please pass along whichever one you like better!

Hmmm…
"There is no such thing as global warming"
"OK, the globe is warming but we;re not doing it"
"OK, so we're doing it, but there won't be any bad consequences"
"OK, so the consequences are pretty bad, but it will get cheaper if we wait"
"So it is cheapest to act now instead of later, but we just can't afford to save our farmers, the polar bear, our way of life, our coastal cities, and the planet."
"So acting now could reduce our dependence on foreign oil, create hundreds of thousands of jobs and give America leadership in the industries of the future"
"Lets not get too hasty"
Then the candle goes out.
