"You don't need to convince me to fight global warming. I'm already with you. You need to reach others and convince them." We hear that a lot from our online activists and members. We get it and we're doing something about it.
In the last several years, we've deployed scores of on-the-ground organizers and communication specialists in key swing states to recruit unlikely allies. Our new 10-minute video, "Cap. Trade. Grow.", is part of that effort.
There are loads of videos out there highlighting the threat and urgency of global warming. Our video takes a different tack. We focus on the business opportunities inherent in developing global warming solutions, and the national security issues tied to our reliance on foreign oil. Take a look.
If you'd like to distribute copies to local business groups, local political leaders, or the home district offices of your members of Congress, please let us know.

Excellent video. But it doesn’t completely explain the Cap and trade concept to me (I am new to this concept) in a practical situation.
My confusion:
For example: If a person installed a windmill (clean energy) and somehow put the energy the windmill produced on the power grid — then — would that person be able to trade/sell some energy credits to a company producing, or shipping, fossil fuel (CO2 emitting energy)?
